Who We Are

Friends of Warren County Parks and Rec is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting athletics, recreational programming, and other major parks projects in Warren County.

This public-private partnership was established to provide new opportunities for fundraising and community support, while making the sponsorship and donation process as simple as possible for WCPRD partners and supporters. FWCPR's 501(c)(3) status also ensures that individual and corporate sponsors can take full advantage of available tax deductions for the charitable contributions.

Meet the Board

Dr. Mark Graves

Dr. Graves is a Bowling Green native, WKU and UofL grad, owner of Covington Dental, and 2023 Bowling Green 40 under 40 honoree.

Jody Richards

Best known as the longest serving Speaker of the House in Kentucky history, Mr. Richards is also an educator, veteran, and small business owner.

Gary Larimore

Mr. Larimore is President & CEO of the Rural Water Financing Agency and the former Executive Directory of the Kentucky Rural Water Association.

Rick Starks

Currently the owner of RJ Starks Consulting, Mr. Starks spent over 30 years in economic development for BRADD and the TVA KY Region.

Tom Renick

Mr. Renick worked for Warren County Public Schools for many years, most notably as the principal of Henry F. Moss Middle School, before retiring in 2011.

Bart Darrell

Mr. Darrell is a member and past president of the BG-WC Bar Association, President Emeritus of Kentucky Wesleyan College, Chancellor of HealthForce Kentucky and VP of Owensboro Health.
